About Me
As a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist, I specialise in evidence-based treatments tailored to the individual needs of clients. With over 5 years of experience delivering 1:1 CBT therapy in private, NHS, and voluntary settings, I have worked with children, young people, and adults. Additionally, I have:
Co-facilitated an NHS child psychotherapy group for 2 years
Facilitated a social skills group for children and young people with autistic traits for 1 year
Worked with less traditional presentations such as misophonia and unusual experiences
Delivered workshops to parents and schools to enhance understanding of mental health
Deliver anxiety trainings and skills supervision to NHS clinicians in partnership with Koa Health and Oxford University Research Team
Striving to provide high-quality care, I've additionally trained and worked within the fields of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), child psychodynamic psychotherapy, dance and movement psychotherapy (DMP). I am also ADOS-2 trained, which means that I can assess Autism in clients aged 12 months and older (including adults).
My Approach:
I believe therapy is a deeply personal journey, tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs. My practice is founded on the principle of seeing the person behind the challenges they face, ensuring that clients feel truly understood and valued. I focus on creating a safe, empathetic space that fosters trust and collaboration, allowing clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly and without judgment.
